Happy Monday loves. Well its February guys and another month bites the dust. I wish I had some awesome "OMG January was full of accomplishments" post, but uh, I don't.
See the thing about January is not a lot went down around the house. Tons of stuff behind the scenes, and loads of planning, but not a lot of do-ing. I'm not sure if I was running on fumes from the holiday aftermath, or what, but I just was not in the DIY mood last month. I did, however, finally start painting the laundry room over the weekend, though.
We went with Dolphin Fin by Behr in here just like in the hallway.
Did you guys feel the January blues, too? Was it just me? Here's to a much more motivated February. Until next time....

ReplyDeleteYour laundry room color is going to look great! January was filled with a lot of nothing but party planning for my youngest. Who told him he could be born so close to Christmas?!

I think it's good to have little breaks from the DIY. I love it but it's easy to burn out on it!
ReplyDeleteLoving that color on the wall! The contrast is perfect and its not too dark. I feel ya on the whole not in the diy mood though. I'm currently breaking out of my little rut but it was deeper and longer than I wouldve liked!

OMGoodness, I totally felt the January blues too! The first few days into January I was all hyped and excited, making my DIY list and checking it twice and then I looked up and it was January 31. So, I'm taking my DIY list into February and hoping a dose of motivation slaps me in the face. By the way, I love the direction that you're going with for the laundry room. Can't wait to see the final reveal!

ReplyDeleteIt's ebb and flow like that here too. I am excited that we are finally "breaking ground" on our master bath remodel this month :) Can't wait to get started :)
