Uhhhh yeah....this is so me! I'm still waiting to stumble upon a fabulous find in a dumpster or street curb. When it happens me and my SUV will be ready for the capture.
I'm back again with another treasure hunting adventure! Today's shenanigans are all about my tendency to brake for thrift stores and antique shops during my lunch hour. Its a sickness and I'm not looking for a cure. I work in a super cute quaint little college town and it is home to no shortage of amazing little shops and thrift stores. No matter how hungry I may be, when I zoom past one of these suckers I come to a screeching halt. Especially when I drive by a sign like this:
Over the past couple months I've made a few detours and have collected a few goodies during my little excursions. My most recent stop was at a cute little antique store having a going out of business sale. I just couldn't resist popping in
This bucket o' brass was sitting outside with a "make an offer" sign taped to it
This was sitting off in the corner all lonely...
So I packed it up and brought it home with me.....along with a few other things
Now the lamp has a new home next to a blue and white plant pot which so happens to also be a lunch break treasure I scooped up back in January at another of my fave spots by my job.
I really love it.
Please tell me I'm not the only one who will go without food at the prospect of a good treasure hunt? Until next time.....
