Hi Everyone!
Happy Monday my loves. So to answer that question....
Ive just sorta been around. My doc still has me on pretty strict "no doing anything strenuous" orders until after my post op appointment, so Ive been thrown off my game a bit. Its been hard, yall...so hard to just relax, you know. I'm one of those people who always has at LEAST 15 things going on in my head all at once, so its been a struggle.
Last week I didn't post at all, because I had nothing of quality to share with you guys. Its a bit of an internal struggle, though, because I want to stay constantly connected with you, but at the same time I don't want to post stuff just to be posting. I mean, I could post about how I spray painted some planters, but that's not post-worthy to me.
I will say this... even if I'm absent here, I'm always super active on Instagram. I'm sure Ive said this before, but, I absolutely LOVE Instagram. I just really love the intimacy and reality of it. Its kinda like how, though I love to see YouTube videos that have been edited beautifully and are super gorgeous visually, I'm much more apt to watch a ton of Vlog videos because they are just so much more personal to me. That's now IG is for me. I love that I get to share random moments of reality with you guys. And I love that you guys share your moments with me.
Anyway, I did get out of the house some last week and do some treasure hunting so Ill share that on Thursday. Other than that Ive just been pinning and planning and awaiting the moment I can get a paint brush and power tools back in my hands.
So tell me...honestly, do you guys prefer to see posts pretty much everyday, even if its not so substantial, or would you rather see posts semi regularly but are all about the meat and potatoes, if you will? I'm torn, and its a hard balance to achieve. Hope you all have a fabulous week!
Until next time.....
XoXo-Shavonda
I feel the same way as you which is why I don't post very much. I don't want to regurgitate pics you can see on pinterest but I don't always have time or inspiration for my own projects. I prefer to see the personal stuff though!
ReplyDeleteHey Brandi, I agree. The one thing I love about your blog, though, is that when you do post something it's guaranteed to be something amazing and really inspiring.
DeleteQuality over quantity any day! Love your blog BTW from a reader in Australia.
ReplyDeleteHi there!! I'm so excited to have a reader from one of my fav places on Earth! Naomi and I are planning on honeymooning in Australia and we can't wait. Thanks so much for your input. :)
DeleteLove IG too and for post schedules, I totally prefer every now and then to every day. It's hard to keep up with Quantity even as a reader not just the writer.
ReplyDeleteHey Julia! You're totally right about it being hard to keep up as a reader. You always put out good stuff, though.:)
DeleteI hope you will be better and running around working on projects very soon! :-) Like you, I worry about when should I post but I prefer having something good to post about! :-) take care!
