A Faucet Saved My Bathroom

Hi Everyone!

Happy Friday loves!  Yes I know I've been MIA all week.  I promise I have a semi good excuse.  See what had happened was....

I've been engulfed in the powder room revamp, aka, the longest project ever.  Well actually our kitchen was the longest project ever, but this is one that in all honesty should have taken all of two days to complete.  Unfortunately, in the world of DIY the unexpected often happens.  Anyway, enough talk lets get to it.

Along with the fact that the powder room wasn't exactly easy on the eyes the faucet also wasn't functioning correctly, so when I received the Kenzo Single Control bath faucet from Pfister I knew exactly where it was going.

While Naomi usually tries to stay as far away from this blogging adventure of mine as possible, this made her just a tad giddy.  Don't tell her I said that though!  Its modern, sleek styling is totally up her ally. The best part about it is the way it actually functions.

So cool right! I LOOOVE the way the water flows from it. Not only is it gorgeous, but it was an absolutely CINCH to install.  From start to finish installation took literally all of 30 minutes.  No lie. This is more than I can say for the previous faucet.  It was a major pain the neck, and back, and legs, and fingers to remove.  Took me 3 days. 3 DAYS people. #aintnobodygottimeforthat    And for those of you intimidated by plumbing, don't be.  I installed this by myself while Naomi was at work and the kids were in school.  Just follow the directions provided by the manufacturer and you cant go wrong.

Now y'all know there was no way I was bout to let this gorgeous faucet in the old bathroom so there was really only one solution: revamp the whole thing.  Lets remember what it looked like before

Here we are today

So much better now.  Its still a work in progress, but its off to a great start. The walls are still a bit bare

but that just means I get to spend more time at the thrift store.  Sweet justification.  Ill be sharing one of my fav projects in the space so far and more deets about the makeover next week.

Thank you, Pfister for saving my bathroom.  My guests will thank you too.  If you're in the market for a new faucet make sure you check out the awesome choices available at  Pfister .  There's sure to be a style you'll love.

-by the way...small bathrooms with no windows are a witch to photograph.  The photos above were taken with what little natural light I could grab.

So have you made any bathroom updates lately? Im off to paint the front door.  We finally decided on a color.  Cant wait to show you! Until next time...

*this post was brought to you by Pfister.  I was provided the faucet for review.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.

  15. I swear- faucets are so affordable but they make the biggest impact. It can make the difference between 'eh' and 'dayyyum' - - speaking of which, mine needs my attention again. I love leaving things halfway done. My husband loves it too. Psh!
