Have You Heard!?

Hi Everyone!!

So have you heard!?  Pantone has announced the 2014 color of the year, guys!  So remember back when I sorta kinda predicted that I thought lilac was about to make it into the limelight the design world?  Well my friends, I was totally right!!  Meet Radiant Orchid!!

 
Isn't she a beauty!?  I'm so ridiculously excited about it. Purple is my favorite color and this little lady is the perfect tone.  Not too dark and not too light!
 
I don't have a single ounce of purple in our home yet, but I can guarantee over the next couple months it'll be showing up.  I've been really wanting to add a great revamped vintage bench to our kitchen/dining room under the window for extra seating.  I think the lilac would be a perfect accent to the white/grey/yellow we have going on in there. 
 
I typically decorate with however I want without regard as to whats "in", (uh hello I'm still holding on to neon) but I may totally become a sell out on this one.  Have I mentioned how excited I am?

    I just saw that on the Today show!!! It's a beautiful color but I might have to leave it out of my own home…..BUT….you can be sure I will be trying to push it on everyone else:)

    Oh! You were right ;) I had a lilac moment a while back...I'll have to see if it grows on me again...right now, not so much, but maybe by spring?

    You know me! What a, I going to say?
    I already have so many radiant orchids in my house already. This color, some leopard and gold and I'm happy (but I'm also happy with any other color combined with leopard and gold ;)

    I LOVE the color for fashion and beauty, but I'm not sure how much of it will end up around our home. We'll see!
