Hey loves. We are getting down to the wire aren't we? Only 5 days til Christmas:) EEEK!
I'm sure you've noticed things have been pretty quiet around here. I haven't necessarily taken a break, but I have decided to really, really relish in the holiday season. The kids are out of school, we are entertaining lots of friends, and we are taking much more time to just enjoy our time together. The posts will still be coming, just not as frequently until after the new year. I hope you guys don't mind:)
A little over a week ago I took part in the Blogger Styling Home Tours and showed you guys the beginnings of our holiday decorating. Traditionally we don't really start decking our halls until about a week before Christmas so I'm back today to share a few changes and some additions tour holiday decor.
At the time of our tour we didn't have our family tree up yet. This week we got it up and decorated and have been really enjoying it.
Our angel tree topper has been in the family for years and years. Every time I try to change it with something new the kids get really upset!
Speaking of trees, our live kitchen countertop tree didn't make it so we swapped it out with a fun tinsel one.
This little guy came as a set with a larger one which now sits by the fireplace. I also added some festive art to the mix. and the popcorn garland has a new home too!
For the dining room table I kept things super casual for everyday. I couldn't wait to try my hand at ornament garland! It was really easy and I love how it turned out.
We brought out our stockings and moved the holiday cards to a charger on the entryway console table.
I even added a small festive touch to the desktop!
In case you couldn't already tell, I'm absolutely obsessed with disco ball/mirrored ornaments at the moment. They are such a easy way to add a little peeks of glam to even the most boring places.
Im loving how its all coming together. We still want things pretty simple and edited, but a little sparkle never hurt anyone, right! Have a great weekend everyone. I'm off to finish some last minute shopping. Until next time...

Amazing
