Our Thanksgiving Table

Hi Everyone!

Happy Wednesday loves.  So how many of you are drowning in vegetables and pie crusts already?  I am!  I've gotta give myself a little extra time this year so I'm doing way more prep today than I usually do.  Amongst it all I managed to carve out a bit of time to throw together our Thanksgiving table scape.

I decided this year I wanted to be an actual legit hostess and have a bit more formal dinner rather than the usual buffet style we typically do.  I didn't want to go too overboard though and wanted to keep a casual and eclectic feel to things, so I shopped the house to pull together the look.  Aside from the chargers (which were purchased at the .99 Store), and the flowers, the look is made up of everything we already owned.

I used remnant fabric to create a small tablecloth and runner.  I also brought in a mix of chairs and ikat patterned napkins to add to the eclectic feel.

A collection of thrift store candle holders are perfect for soft lighting. I was so happy that Naomi actually let some gold creep in!

Antlers and pumpkins add in some natural elements.

I like to include a little something unexpected into all my spaces and I just love these neon tipped rosemary sprigs place card holders!

Texture, pattern, and neon...its a recipe for fun! This combo makes up our main place settings, but I mixed it up even more with a different look for the heads of the table

I took full advantage of my gold pass!!

I'm really happy with how things came together.

I hope you all have an absolutely wonderful Thanksgiving. I'm off to finish my prep work.  Until next time....

  3. Very pretty. Love the neon tipped rosemary and that you just folded under the edges of the remnant IKEA fabric to "make" the table runner. Have a happy Thanksgiving.
