Hallway Update

Hi Everyone!!

Happy Friday loves.  We've got contractors in our house today fixing a few drywall issues we were having.  It's covered under the warranty the builder provided when the previous owners had the house built, so the only thing its costing us is patience!

I made a bit more progress in the hall so I wanted to share with you guys.
We decided on hardware for the linen storage

We opted for knobs for the uppers and pulls for the lowers.

I knew going into this project  I wanted clear glass hardware for the cabinets.  I also knew costs would be a major factor in what I was going to actually end up with.  Luckily these were sickeningly affordable!  I'm talking $1.99 for the set of knobs and $2.99 for the set of pulls.  Ikea for the win again!  I'm happy with them and even though they are super cheap, they don't look or feel that way.

I also started a gallery wall installation as well.

Happy to have a couple things checked off the list.

Still to do:

-Add hardware to the cabinets ( I'm leaning toward either clear/glass or black)
-Paper/Stencil open cabinet
-Replace recessed lights with hanging pendants
-Backsplash
-Kilim runner
-Décor and styling
-Gallery wall

Hope you guys have an amazing weekend.  Ill be celebrating our anniversary, working on a little impromptu project, and soaking up the summer sun. Until next time......

  2. When IKEA hits the mark they can be sooooo good, that hardware has big $$$ style. I'm looking for exactly that style of pull to replace mine on the first level of drawers under my counter cause our current ones snag our clothing all the time. Sure do wish I had a local IKEA, mine is in DC and it takes me anywhere from 2- 6 hrs one way depending on the roads! The started gallery wall looks nice too. Happy weekend. Robin
